Breathwork for Recovery

Founded in Los Angeles in 2015 by Nathaniel Hodder-Shipp (CADC-II, B.Msc.), Breathwork for Recovery runs group and individual breathwork sessions, work inside treatment centres, a weekly donation-based support group called The Recovery Circle, and an 800-hour Breathwork Clinician Certification (BCC) for practitioners and clinicians. The organisation is an approved continuing-education provider with the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT approved CE provider #146365). Its own site states plainly that "Breathwork is not a replacement for traditional therapy or psychiatry, nor is it a substitute for prescription medication."
